Thorpes of Gosforth ltd is a third generation family business. Our grandfather opened the business in 1947. Over the years the market and competition has changed considerably, but we still aim to provide a very comprehensive stock of traditional hardware products and are always prepared to go that extra mile to help customers track down ‘elusive’ items. Thorpes have a reputation of “if you can’t get it at Thorpes you won’t get it anywhere”, we try our best to live up to this!.We also pride ourselves in offering the highest standard of ‘good old fashioned’ customer service available today, something that is sadly getting harder and harder to find.
